How to add your permit number correctly

The most common mistake unverified agents make — and why the verified badge is worth the extra 30 seconds.

Adding your permit number

Every public listing in Dubai must display a valid permit number. On AtoA, it also unlocks the verified badge and raises your daily posting limit from 2 to 20.

Where to find your permit

  • Dubai (DLD) — issued through Trakheesi. Format: 12345-6789 or similar.
  • Abu Dhabi (ADM) — permit issued via the Municipality's e-services.
  • RAK / SRE — issued by the local Real Estate Regulator.

What to type in the field

Use the exact number as it appears on your issued permit. No spaces, no country prefix. If your permit is 12345-2024, type 12345-2024.

What NOT to do

  • ❌ Reuse an old permit that's expired.
  • ❌ Enter the reference number of someone else's permit.
  • ❌ Skip the authority dropdown — pick the correct one (DLD / RERA / ADM / etc.).
